1 killed, 5 injured in tribal clash

TAMBOO: One person was killed and five injured in tribal clashes over land dispute in Sohbatpur and Jhal Magsi Monday.

Levies reached the scene brought about a ceasefire but no arrest was reported.

Police said two tribes clashed over land dispute at RD238 near Sohbatpur. One person Muhammad Siddiq was killed. Two persons Sajju and Mahbub Ali were seriously injured in the firing.

Police reached the scene and got vacated trenches from the warring tribes.

In another incident in Nowshera of Jhal Magsi, two tribes entrenched and opened fire against each other. Three tribesmen Himmat Ali, Allah Bakhsh and Ghulam Hussain were seriously injured. One of them is stated to be serious.

8 INJURED: Eight persons were injured when a pickup carrying zaireen overturned near Jhal Magsi today.

According to details a pickup was going go Gandava Fateh Pur shrine carrying zaireen. It turned turtle near Jhal Magsi in which eight persons were injured. They were shifted to Sibi for further treatment.
