Efforts would be made for betterment for Sports, Tourism, Environment, Revenue & State departments, Minister

Peshawar: Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for Sports, Tourism, Environment, Revenue & State, Samin Jan Babar has said that he will try his best to fulfil his responsibilities as caretaker minister. All efforts would be made for betterment of his subordinate department within short time.

He expressed these views while attending a presentation on the department of Environment on Wednesday here in Peshawar. Secretary Environment Muhammad Adil Khan, DG Pakistan Forest Institute Syed Said Badshah and other concern officials attended the meeting.

Director General, Syed Said Badshah informed the minister about developmental performance and achievements of the Pakistan Forest Institution in briefed. Besides that, caretaker minister visited the Peshawar Museum where he inspected large number of collections of antiques.

On this occasion Secretary Tourism & Archaeology Syed Jamaluddin, Director Archaeology & Museum Shah Nazar and Curator Nidaullah khan also informed the Minster about the Gandhara Arts, Islamic Gallery, and Irani antiques.

Minister was also informed about the Archaeology places in different areas of the province like, Peshawar, Takht Bhai, Swabi and Swat. The Caretaker Minister showed his keen interest in the large number of collection of antiques in the museum.
