Peshawar: PTI MNA Ayesha Gulalai Wazir spearheaded a delegation from district Bannu to demand Power Transformer for 220KV Grid Station Domel, District Bannu. She apprised CEO Peshawar Electric supply company PESCO Tariq Saddozai of the problems being faced by the people due to protracted power outages of 22 hours and low voltage. The inhabitants of the area are complaining about non availability of drinking water from their tube wells. They have also protested time and again to highlight their grievances but no action has been taken to redress the problem so far.

She said that the main problem is due to the overloading of the existing 2 Nos. of Power Transformers installed and almost all the 11KV feeders emanating from 220 KV Grid Station Domel, and with the installation of this power transformer, load on the existent system would considerably be reduced and therefore persistent supply of electricity without fluctuations could be ensured.
