QUETTA: Lawlessness and terrorists would not be tolerated in the country including Balochistan. Target Killing and missing persons would be taken into account and best police officers would be given to Balochistan for establishing peace and order in the province.

This was stated by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif while speaking to Newsmen along with Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch after attending a high level meeting on law and order at Governor House here Tuesday.

Earlier Prime Minister was welcomed by Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch Provincial ministers Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, MPAs Jaffar Mandokhel, MNA Sardar Kamal Bangulzai, Balochistan Chief Secretary Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad, IFG Police, Director General Public Relations Noor Khan Muhammad Hasni and other senior officers upon arrival here today on a brief visit.

Prime Minister was accompanied by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Al Khan, Information Minister Pervez Rasheed, Chairman PMAP Mahmood Khan Achakzai, MNA Lt General R Abdul Qadir Baloch, Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, Hasil Bizenjo, DG ISI, DG IB, Secretary Interior.

From airport Prime Minister went to CMH and enquired after health of injured persons of Hazara Town suicide attack.

Prime Minister said lawlessness in Balochistan is not acceptable and all political parties would be consulted in this regard. If work was done dedicatedly peace would return soon. He directed agencies to extend cooperation to Balochistan Chief Minister.

He aid target killing of Hazara community would not be tolerated in any case. He aid terrorists made terrorism t Women University and Bolan Medical Complex Hospital in the recent past. Now they have committed terrorism in Hazara town. We would not tolerate terrorism in any case and whoever is involved would take dealt with iron hand.

Answering a question Prime Minister said provincial government enjoys full support of federal government and it has been empowered to mobilize all its resources for maintaining law and order in the province. He said Quetta is small city and there must not be any hurdle in checking terrorism in this city. This was cradle of peace but for some time incidents of target killing were taking place here which we would not tolerate. Maintenance of law and order is our responsibility and we would fulfil it.

If provincial government called senior police officers we would give them to provincial government so that peace could be maintained at every cost.

Earlier a high level meeting was held at Governor House chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here today. It was attended by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch, MNA Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Hasil Bizenjo, Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, DG ISI, DG MI, IGFC, IG Balochistan Police and other officers.

Meeting reviewed that for the past some years incidents of terrorism were taking place in Balochistan. These should be stopped. Meeting decided that on return of Prime Minister Form China a meeting would be called in which all political parties’ leaders and heads of sensitive agencies would be called. Meeting would decide important decisions. Prime Minister said incidents of target killings would not be tolerated in any case. Security to life and property is duty of government and we would do it at every cost.
