Prime Minister greets Sultan of Oman on national day

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has felicitated the Prime Minister of the Sultan of Oman, on the occasion of their National Day being celebrated on Monday.

In his message of greetings to the Sultan of Oman, the Prime Minister expressed that “On behalf of people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and on my own behalf, I wish to extend to your Majesty and brotherly people of the Sultanate of Oman, our sincere and warmest felicitations on the auspicious occasion of 43rd National Day of the Sultanate of Oman.

During the last 42 years, the Sultanate of Oman has achieved unprecedented prosperity, development and modernization under your Majesty’s sagacious and visionary leadership. This has completely transformed Sultanate of Oman into a modern and highly developed country. The people of the Sultanate of Oman are benefiting from the fruits of this development. This is a cause of great satisfaction and happiness in Pakistan as a close neighbor and brotherly country.

Existing brotherly and excellent bilateral relations between Pakistan and Sultanate of Oman are based on strong foundations of common faith and identity as well as shared values and aspirations.

Both counties have supported each other on regional and international issues of mutual concern. Under your Majesty’s wise and able leadership, bilateral relations have gained strength and substance to the mutual advantage of our two peoples. I am also pleased to note the contribution made by Pakistani community residing in the Sultanate of Oman in the development of the Sultanate.

I take this opportunity to pray to Allah Almighty for your Majesty’s health, happiness and long life and for the continued progress, prosperity and well being of the brotherly people of the Sultanate of Oman”,he added in his message.
