PTI gives consent on names for interim premier

KARACHI: Pakistan TehreekeInsaf Central Secretary General Dr Arif Alvi while expressing PTI’s consent over the three proposed names for the charge of caretaker prime minister, has said Pakistan is not in position to withstand prejudice to any further extent.

Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club where PTI Central Leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi and Jamal Siddiqui accompanied him, Dr Alvi said that caretaker government would constitutionally be an authorized that could bring real democracy by conducting fair and free elections without getting influenced by internal and external pressures.

“In parallel to its significance for national growth, it would play its major role against terrorism, lawlessness and economic collapse.” He explained that PTI upholds the demand of proper inquiry into Abbas Town.

In response to a question, he said, “For the very first time, a political party is about to complete intraparty elections. Concluding stage includes elections in Sindh and Karachi on 10th March which would be followed by oath taking ceremony at Minar-e-Pakistan Lahore on 23rd March. He said that the transparency of general elections would bring PTI’s astounding triumph.
