Water purification plants inaugurated

Ghotki, Sind: Corporate Social Responsibility is an uncompromising commitment on the part of the company, to proactively and positively act to be a benefactor of the society of which it is a citizen.

Two reverse osmosis RO water filter plants were installed by Engro Fertilizers at villages Kaloo Burriro and Kotlo Mirza at the cost of Rs. 2 million. One such water filter plant was installed in village Bhago Bhutto in 2011, and is fully functional.

These water filter plants, were inaugurated by Agha Nasir Pathan, Deputy Commissioner Ghotki and Irfan Ali Baloch, SSP Ghotki. Inamullah Naveed Khan VP manufacturing Engro Fertilizers was also present.

The speakers were of the view that these water filter plants will improve the health of the community comprising over 600 people living in these villages. It was informed that Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund PPAF and Sind Rural Support Organization SRSO were funding and organizing partners in the project.
