26 train passengers arrested for travelling without tickets

KARACHI: Pakistan Railways’ Divisional Commercial Officer (DCO) Nasir Nazeer heading a special team raided a Khyber Mail Express train coming to Detha Station in Hyderabad on Wednesday and arrested 26 commuters for travelling without tickets.

According to Pakistan Railways, the officials charged tickets along with Rs50,000 fine from 26 apprehended commuters as per railways law.

DCO Nasir said that Pakistan Railways is a comfortable journey for the people, but travelling without ticket is a crime, which inflict loss to national wealth.
