8 Ramzan bazaars, 31 fair price shops established in Sialkot

SIALKOT: The district administration of Sialkot have established as many as eight Sasta Ramzan Bazaars, 31 fair price shops and 37 Ramzan Dastarkhwaans in Sialkot district’s all the four Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils before the advent of Holy month of Ramzan.

Sialkot District Coordination Office (DCO) Dr. Asif Tufail disclosed this while presiding over a high level meeting held here today.

He said that the Sasta Bazaars, fair price shops and Ramzan Dastarkhwaans have been established to provide maximum financial relief to the common people by ensuring the good quality daily used commodities and kitchen items on subsidized rates by the government during the Holy month of Ramzan.

DCO directed the concerned officials to ensure the quality and check prices of the daily used commodities there in the Ramzan Bazaars as there would be no compromise on the quality and prices of the daily used items as well, saying that all the basic facilities would also be provided there to the masses.

Earlier, the flanked by the local elected representatives, the DCO visited the sites for establishing the Sasta Ramzan Bazaars there in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur here today.
