Accountability Court conviction

QUETTA: Accountability court convicted Flour mills owner and two officers of Food Department to 10 years RI and a fine of rupees 20.6 million. According to details National Accountability Bureau Balochistan started investigation against Haji Akhtar Mohammad and Haji Abdul Haleem two officers of Food Department and Omar Mukhtar owner of Ishaq Flour mills in October 2007. NAB filed a reference against them after collecting evidences against them in December 2011 in Accountability Court. Keeping in view witnesses and evidences Accountability Court. Court fined each accused Rupees 6867000/- and 10 years RI.

Officers of Food Department were dismissed from service and were disqualified for any government service for 10 years. They will not be entitled to obtain loan from any financial institution or bank for 10 years.
