ADIG inaugurates tree plantation at CPO

KARACHI: ADIG T&T Kamran Rasheed planted a sapling in Central Police Office (CPO) here on Tuesday as part of a tree plantation campaign in collaboration with United Nations Association of Pakistan (UNAP), National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) and Javedan Corporation’s Naya Nazimabad project.

The campaign was titled as Green and Peaceful Karachi. NFEH’s President Naeem Qureshi and UNAP’s representative Fozia Tariq also planted tree at CPO.

It was decided that more than 100 trees will be planted at CPO under the campaign in the city. AIGP Welfare Sindh Iram Awan, UNAP representative Abdul Waheed, Ashfaq, Faizan, Gulnaz, Tasneem, Sumera; NFEH’s Nadeem Ashraf, Noman, Haleem, Fatima and Ruqiyya; Administrator East Rehmatullah Shaikh, Akhtiar Baig, Director Parks East Raza Qaimkhani, Director Parks South Dr Suneeta, Advisor NFEH Samer Mir Shaikh, CEO Naya Nazimabad Abdul Samad, Mohammad Talha, Amir Rizvi, and Mohammad Akif were also present.
