Adviser: (Pakistan keen to further expand ties with UK: Sartaj)

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that Pakistan intends to further expand cooperation with the United Kingdom in diverse fields.

Talking to a seven-member delegation of the British Parliament here on Wednesday, he said Pakistan enjoys friendly and warm relations with the United Kingdom which have been further strengthened during the last two years.

Sartaj Aziz said the presence of a large number of Pakistani diaspora in the United Kingdom acts as a bridge between the two countries.

He also highlighted Pakistan’s efforts to fight terrorism and extremism and reiterated the Government’s commitment to take forward the process of constructive engagement with Afghanistan. He highlighted the vision of the Prime Minister for promotion of regional peace and stability.
