AIGP orders for strict security

KARACHI: Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Karachi Ghulam Qadir Thebo on Tuesday chaired a high level meeting for law and order situation and traffic system. In meeting, Station Commander Karachi, DIG traffic, Zonal DIGs, DIG CIA, and other officers were present. While talking to officers, he emphasized the police officers to take action in regard registered cases, and to improve the detection of crime.

Thebo instructed the police officers to ensure the strict security on public places and highways, while the more contingents of police should be deployed on the northern bypass.

He said it has been observed that people faces the difficulties due to barriers and illegal encroachment on roads and pavements, so these illegal encroachments should be removed and to improve the traffic flow.
