Al-Khidmat establishes tent city for 100 families

KARACHI: Al-Khidmat Foundation has set up a tent city for 100 affected families of North Waziristan in Bannu. Basic necessities of life have been provided to the affectees in the tent city established in cooperation with Charity Australia. A boundary wall has also been erected around the colony, so that they could feel secure, said the spokesman of Al-Khidmat.

“Each affected family has been provided 2 tents, one bathroom, water tap with water supply, electricity connection, fans and kitchen utensils. Masjid and school have also been set up in the colony,” said the spokesman.

Supervisor of the colony is President Al-Khidmat Federally Administered Tribal Areas-I Gul Afridi and In-charge Gul Wali Khan.

Different personalities visited the tent city including Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq, President Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan Dr Hafeez-ur-Rehman, Syed Ahsanullah Waqas, Professor Ibrahim, Ijazullah Khan and Noor-ul-Haq.
