Al-Khidmat sends assistance to IPDs

KARACHI: Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan and Al-Khidmat Women Trust sent two trucks of ration to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Waziristan on Wednesday. Ration was sent in supervision of Ex Mayer of Karachi Naimatullah Khan Advocate.

The goods sent included tents, flour, Ghee, tea, pulses, soaps, dates, sugar, syrups and other daily-use items. They were dispatched from Karachi to Bannu, where volunteers of Al-Khidmat would distribute them amongst the IDPs.

On this occasion Naimatullah khan said that they were serving IDPs as a sacred duty as in the month of Ramazan they were facing a lot of problems.

He said displacement of 0.8million people is a big sacrifice for the country, which is not forgettable. He said that they would continue to help them till they return to their homes.
