Al-Khidmat to set up more water filter plants

KARACHI: Ex-Mayer of Karachi and head of Al-Khidmat Advocate Naimatullah Khan said on Monday that unavailability of clean water was serious problem of the society, adding Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan is working on clean water supply project in all over the country.

He said this at inaugurating ceremony of a water filtration plant and help centre in Jamia Masjid Quba, Block No 13, Federal B Area in Gulberg Town. Jamaat-e-Islami District East amir Manam Zafar Khan, national director of Al-Khidmat Foundation Aijaz Khan and Amir of Gubarg zone Saeed Amir Moosa were also present.

Water projects in Sindh and other provinces of the country are being run by Al-Khidmat successfully, he said. “We want the provision of clean water to people because contaminated water is the main cause of different diseases,” he said.

He said a large number of people have not access to clean water and we will set up more water filtration plants. He appealed the philanthropists to cooperate with them in this regard.
