All seats of Naudero, Ratodero municipalities go to PPP

Ratodero, Sindh: All seven seats of Naundero municipality were swept away by Peoples Party candidates here on Saturday in Local Bodies Election of 2015. Likewise all 10 seats were also obtained by PPP candidates of Ratodero municipality.

In Badah one seat was won by independent candidate and on other 13 seats PPP candidates were successful. In Areeja town committee six out of seven seats were won by PPP and one by independent candidate. In Dokri PPP faced defeat for the first time as it was only able to win one out of five seats in its lone town committee as four were secured by independent candidates having support of Unar group. In 14 wards of Badah Town Committee, 13 seats were obtained by PPP and one by PTI candidate.

In Nandero Bashir Bhutto won ward No:1, Naimatullah Shah won ward 2, Allah Dino Bhutto won ward 3, Dur Mohammad Mirani won ward No: 4, Mohammad Essa Khuhro won ward No: 5, Manzoor Khaskheli won ward No: 6 and ward No: 7 was won by Mushtaque Soomro. In Ratodero, PPP candidates Ghulam Mustafa Ghanghro, Mushtaque Jalbani, Gul Mohammad Jakhro, Nazir Hussain Dayo, Ghulam Ali Abro, Mohammad Hassan Soomro, Syed Mehar Ali Shah, Nadim Akhtar Soomro, Mumtaz Ali Arbani won the nine seats and candidate for tenth seat Inayat Ali Arbani has already come out unopposed.

It was expected that PPP candidates will face tough resistance in Ratodero & Naudero due to its past performance but female votes came to their rescue whose votes paved way for their win. In male polling stations they won with little margin but in ladies polling stations PPP candidates got 80 to 90% votes which proved fruitful for them.
