Alleged RAW agents sent to jail

KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday sent two alleged agents of India’s spy agency RAW to jail on judicial remand till 21 June 2015 in explosive material and illicit weapons cases.

Police produced accused Tahir alias Lamba and Junaid Khan before the ATC judge under tight security. The court sent the suspects to jail on judicial remand till 21.

According to prosecution, the accused with their absconding accomplices were involved in anti-state activities and were planning to spread terror in the country. The suspects Tahir Lamba and Junaid Khan were arrested by Malir police in April from the outskirt of the metropolis, Super Highway. The suspects were in police’s custody since May.
