Altaf suggests Sindh number 1, Sindh number 2

Karachi: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain Wednesday said that if there are objections on creating new administrative units, the Sindh province should be divided into Sindh number 1, and Sindh number 2.

Addressing a press conference at Nine Zero here via telephone from London he said if injustice with the people of Sindh continued their might be a reaction and if people opted for this reaction no one should blame the MQM.

He demanded a country-wide census in the whole country under the supervision of Pakistan Army at the earliest.

Hussain said in fact Sindh number one and Sindh number 2 were created in 1973 with introducing urban-rural quota system in Sindh.

He said problems due to the lack of census are aggravating with the passage of time. He said if people would not be given justice they could react sharply. He said the oppressors and the oppressed both have two hands. He said his party would play an effective role of opposition for strengthening democracy.
