ASAS PK concerned over water shortage

QUETTA: ASAS PK has asked Balochistan Government of taking of acute shortage of water in Quetta City and sort out a permanent and perpetual solution as according to experts water should be abolished in coming few years.

The concern was expressed by Executive Director ASAS PK Watan Yar Khilji while addressing Board members here Monday.

ASAS discussed the seriousness of shortage of water in the city and its seriousness in future. It decided that soon a letter would be written to Chief Minister and other high ups that shortage of water in the Metropolis is a serious matters and governments have not taken any concrete course of action despite this.

It said that underground water level was speedily deleting therefore government should pay immediate attention on this important problem and save Quetta.

Watan Yar Khalji said that ASAS PK would hold advocacy on the matter and hold talks with all political parties and government circles in this connection.
