ATC reserves verdict in kidnapping case

Karachi: An Anti-Terrorism Court-I (ATC-I) on Tuesday reserved its verdict in kidnapping case. After recording evidence of witnesses and final arguments from both sides, the Judge of ATC-I reserved the verdict which will be announced on 14th October 2014.

According to prosecution, accused Afaq Ahmed and his accomplices were allegedly involved in kidnapping of government officer Jalil Baloch and demanding his plot for his safe release.

Accused Afaq Ahmed who is on bail on 16th September appeared before ATC-I.

The FIR 201/2001 was registered under section of section 364-A(Kidnapping a person under the age of fourteen) and 109 (Punishment of abetment if the Act abetted committed in consequence and where no express provision is made for its punishment)at the Korangi police Station
