ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central leader Hamza Shahbaz has said that the PML-N candidate’s victory was a confirmation of the mandate given by the people to the party in the general elections of 2013.

Addressing party workers in Lahore on Monday, he thanked the people for supporting PML-N and its leaders. Hamza Shahbaz said, the PTI Chairman Imran Khan did not contest NA-122 by-polls due to fear of defeat.

He urged Imran Khan to join hands with the government in its efforts for progress and prosperity of the country. In his address to the party workers, the PML-N winning candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that his victory was the hat-trick by a petty worker of PML (N) against the PTI chief. He said he will feel his victory truly on the day when Imran Khan will join hands with PML (N) government for a better future of Pakistan.
