BA rules out adjournment motion

QUETTA: Speaker Balochistan Assembly Jan Muhammad Jamali ruled out an adjournment motion on the ground it contained more than one subject and it is a subjudice matter. Adjournment motion was moved by Mufti Gulab Kakar of JUI. He referred to recovery of three more dead bodies in Tootak Sunday as a section of the Press carried this story and other incidents of terrorism. He said eight to 10 people are killed daily. Nothing could be known about it nor any arrest was made. If such incidents continued it would destroy economy of the province and people would migrate from here.

Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that matter is subjudice. A judge of High Court was inquiring the matter. When investigations are complete a report would be presented in the House. “He said Pakistan and we are in state of war.”He said there is betterment in the law and order situation. He said government was serious to control law and order situation in the province. He said at the same time we have also foiled several terrorist attempts. He said he was ready to give in camera briefing to the members. He asked the chair to rule out this motion.

Speaker Jan Muhammad Jamali in his ruling rejected the motion and said that it contains more than one subject besides a high of High Court was probing the matter. Therefore the motion is ruled out.
