Ban on brandishing of weapons in the run up to elections

Peshawar: The Deputy Commissioner Kohat, Capt: ® Kamran Ahmed Afridi, has under Section 144 Cr.PC. banned on display/brandishing of fire arms/weapons in the run up to elections, election day and post-election period, hate speech and wall chalking, victory processions, rallies and celebration in the post-election period, election related rallies, meetings without prior approval and issuance of written NOC from the District Administration/DPO, movement of Afghan Refugees outside their camps from 27th July to 1st August 2015, pillion riding, movement or presence of persons, not resident of the Village/Neighbourhood Council within 400 meters of the vicinity of Polling Stations and carrying/possession of mobile phone, except Presiding Officer inside the premises of the Polling Stations with immediate effect for a period of 30 days in the district.

The violators of this order will be punished under Section 188 PPC. This was officially notified here today.
