Ban on collection of hides without NOCSeptember 16, 2015
SIALKOT: The government has banned the collection of hides and skins of the sacrificial animals by the local religious seminaries, organizations, social welfare organizations and NGOs. They would have to take no objection certificate (NOC) from the concerned district administration, in this regard.
District Coordination Officer (DCO) Sialkot Dr. Asif Tufail told that no one would be allowed to set up camps at any public place or to distribute the pamphlets and broachers motivating the people to donate them the skins of the sacrificial animals in Sialkot district.
DCO added that the defunct and banned militant organizations, now working under their new names, would also not be allowed to collect the skins and hides of the sacrificial animals during the Eidul Azha Days.
He directed the managements of all the religious seminaries to provide the complete particulars of all the students belonging to the other districts and studying here in Sialkot district.
DCO also directed the concerned the early installation of the CCTV cameras in and around all the worship places including mosques, churches and Imambargahs and the religious seminaries to avert any untoward incident.
