LARKANA: Unknown armed men looted a house in Peoples colony here on Wednesday morning.Three armed men riding a bike appeared in Peoples colony, entered the house of Zia Ahmed Abro, a primary teacher, at about 11.30 am and held two women hostage at gunpoint on Wednesday morning.

The teacher had gone to discharge his government duty, leaving behind his wife and daughter at the house. One of the armed men pointed pistol at the head of his daughter and other two started searching the house for valuables. They deprived the women of their golden ornaments worth thousands of rupees and decamped in bright day light.

Relevant police station has started probing the matter further. It may be pointed out here that an anti-dacoity cell has been established here but it has done nothing to curb such crimes.
