NAUNDERO: PML-Nawaz leader Ameer Bakhsh Bhutto said on Wednesday that recent change in Sindh Ministers’ portfolios is like the change of corrupt Patwari’s beat. The corrupt ministers should be sent to home, looted money be recovered and thorough probe be conducted against such them, Bhutto told media during his visit to Nusrat Loop Bund near Naundero.

Bhutto said that those involved in corruption should be taken to task. Sindh Chief Minister has claimed that peace prevails from Karachi to Kashmore, but I ask him to travel to Kashmore from Karachi without protocol.”

He said that in 2010, a flood commission was constituted, but its report could not be made public as yet. “Another flood commission needs to be set up and its report be made public, while those involved in corruption be taken to task.” He said: “There is less than 600,000 cusecs of flood in the Indus River, whereas 1,100,000 to 1,200,000 cusecs of flood had crossed this area in the past. Why is so much hue and cry from the Sindh government. This all is because of the fact that they want to create an atmosphere to fill their own stomachs.”

He said work done on the dyke should be investigated properly by forming a high-level commission. Bhutto said that he cannot see holding of local bodies elections in Sindh, as PPP has not done so during their previous tenure. He said that these elections will be postponed in the pretext of monsoon rains.
