KARACHI: Chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that he was holding his jiyalas back and requested them not to react in the larger interest of reconciliation, peace and tranquillity in Karachi.

In a statement issued here on Sunday, Bilawal stated that PPP would continue to play its role to promote politics of reconciliation and harmony. PTI started this politics of falsehoods, sit-ins and politicizing Pakistan Army which should come to an end.

“This ongoing practice of polarizing our society should not be adopted by political parties, including MQM, as Islamabad sit-in has already displayed negativity for our nation worldwide. Let us rise above politics and make Pakistan prosperous and free of militancy and terrorism”, he said.
