Bilawal hands over 30 trucks of relief goods

KARACHI: In a ceremony held at the Bilawal House, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari handed over 30 trucks loaded with relief goods which include food items, clothes and medicines etc to the PPP delegation led by PPP Central Punjab President Mian Manzoor Watto.

Mian Manzoor Watto who was accompanied by Tanveer Ashraf Qaira and others thanked PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh government for their timely support.

It may be noted that the Sindh government on the directives of former President Asif Ali Zardari had already given Rs 100 million cheque to Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif for welfare of flood affected people.

Watto said that he was taking first phase of 30 trucks of relief goods to Punjab and the party leadership had promised to send him 20 more relief goods trucks in the second phase. “Our leadership has mobilized Party in the flood affected areas of Punjab and we are very much there to help our brethren,” he assured.

On this occasion, PPP leader Faryal Talpur said that the party would continue their support to the flood affected people of Punjab and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
