Car, goods worth millions of rupees burnt in workshop fire

NAUNDERO: A fire broke out in an auto workshop near PTCL exchange along station road here on Sunday night due to which an 200 model Alto car was also burnt along with all the material of the workshop.

The owner, Sajid Kumbhar, told reporters that unknown persons torched his workshop in which millions of rupees worth of material was kept which was also burnt to ashes. He said that one Alto car was also burnt which had been brought at the workshop for repair due to which he has been rendered penniless. He said that this workshop was his only source of livelihood as he is a very poor mechanic.

He said that he has no enmity with anyone and appealed to high police officers to arrest the culprits and bring them to justice. Car driver Abdul Razak Mangi told Journalists that the car belonged to one Naila Shaikh of Karachi and he had brought her family members to visit Bhutto mausoleum in Garhi Khuda Bux.

He said that Alto car suddenly developed fault due to which he parked it in the workshop at night for repairs and in the morning he came there to get it but he found it burnt. Naundero Police have registered the report and was investigating the matter further.
