Carelessness: CM orders probe against CMCH’s MS

LARKANA: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has ordered an inquiry against Additional Medical Superintendent of Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for his alleged refusal to allow hospital’s ambulance to shift an injured SPSF office bearer to Karachi.

Kamran Odhano, President, SPSF, Larkana, complained to Shah on Sunday evening that about one and half month back Zafar Rahujo was critically injured in a road accident, and he was rushed to Casualty of the CMCH.

The duty doctors described his condition very critical and doctors suggested to shift him to Karachi for which they asked Dr Muzaffar Chandio alias Adeeb Inqilabi, Additional Medical Superintendent of CMCH, to provide government ambulance, but he kept on avoiding constantly due to which the injured man expired, which was unjust for which inquiry should be conducted against him.

The Chief Minister directed Commissioner Ghulam Akbar Laghari and& Deputy Commissioner Larkana Javed Jagirani to conduct a probe and submit a detailed report immediately. Odhano further complained to the CM that Larkana’s hospitals had failed to deliver despite allocation of millions of rupees annually.
