Chiltan Adventurers Association Balochistan holds yearly celebrations

QUETTA: Celebration of 30th yearly ceremonies of Chiltan Adventurers Association Balochistan an award ceremony held in the honour of the participants of Zarghoon Mount Expedition & Junipers Defenders grand camp being organized at Zarghoon Mount under the banner of Chilltan Adventurers Association Balochistan with collaboration of Koh-e-Shin adventures.

Zarghoon Mount is located in the North East of Quetta known as the Highest Mountains Peek in Balochistan Province called “Looai Sarr Naikaan” 3,578 meters (11738. ft) which is surrounded by world’s second largest 4000 years old beautiful Juniper forest.

Chief Guest Malik Abdul Rahim Babai Chairman Chiltan Adventurer’s association Balochistan awarded the commemorative shield to Maj Gen Mohammad Samrez Salik (GOC 33 DIV) for his participation and tremendous efforts for the success of Zarghoon Mount Expedition and Juniper Defenders Grand camp.

Further the guest of honour Maj: Gen: Mohammad Samrez Salik awarded the Juniper defender award to Hayatullah khan Durrani for his outstanding performance and tireless continues efforts for the past 30 years to the conservation & preservation of juniper forests in zarghoon mount region and Ziarat.

Hayatullah Khan Durrani is an eminent Pakistani “Juniper Defender” Environmental analyst, naturalist, author and advocate known for the conservation, preservation of Juniper forest and wild life in Ziarat and Zarghoon Mountainous regions. It is worth mentioning that Hayatullah khan Durrani is first International renown eminent Pakistani caving legend and founder of caving adventure sports and speleological activity’s in Pakistan.
