City wardens, fire-fighters get first aid training

KARACHI: Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) city wardens, fire-fighters and KMC security staff on Monday attended practical first aid training workshop organized by Institute of Image Management, KMC, in cooperation with Aman Foundation.

It was third workshop of its kind consisting of long hour duration programs which was attended by 40 city wardens and six fire-fighters.

Amjad Ali Bukhari, Dil Zaman and Azeem Raza of Aman Foundation delivered lectures on first aid on this occasion.

Practical exercises were conducted and the participants were told how to provide first aid to the injured person.

Guest of honour on this occasion, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh Akhter Hussain Jadoon praised the efforts of the organizations and said city wardens were presenting fabulous performance in difficult situations and such trainings would further improve their performance.
