CM directs for ensuring security during SSC examination 2016 at all examination centres

Peshawar: The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed for ensuring security at all examination centres during the coming SSC annual examination 2016, ordering for chalking out strategy to stop cheating and warning to take action against the elements found involved in unfair means.

He was presiding over a high level meeting at CM Secretariat Peshawar. Besides Provincial Minister for Elementary & Secondary Education Mohammad Atif Khan, the Secretary E&SE, IGP, Chairman Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education and other concerned authorities attended the meeting.

The meeting was told that 2307 examination centres under the eight boards of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been established while about 0.8 million candidates would appear in examination.

The Chief Minister on this occasion directed to finalize security arrangements for examination centres with the consultation of Regional Police Officers, District Police Officers and Chairman’s of the respective boards.

He also directed the district administration to inspect examination centres so that no problem could be faced during the examination. He directed the IGP to order all respective SHOs to ensure presence of security officials at all the examination centres.

He said that there would be no compromise in fair and transparent conduct of examination. He said that honest and dutiful supervisory staff should be deputed in order to hold fair examination. He further ordered formulation of committees at Tehsil level for strict supervision of examination centres.
