CM: (Govt making efforts to wipe out terrorism: Shahbaz)March 8, 2016
ISLAMABAD: British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Philip Hammond held a meeting with Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore on Wednesday.
They discussed bilateral relations and ways to promote trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Britain. They also discussed matters pertaining to education, health, skill development and security in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said the provincial government has made sincere efforts to eliminate terrorism and overcome energy crisis.
He said global issues like terrorism could only be tackled with combined efforts. He said Punjab government has made reforms in health, education and skills development sectors. Philip Hammond said Punjab is moving in the right direction in developmental field.
