CM increases compensation package of APS victims to Rs2m, Observes Chehlum with solemnity

Peshawar: KP Chief Minister Pervez Khatak has announced increase in the compensation package of the martyred of the school carnage to Rs2 million for each martyrs and treatment of injured under patronization of Govt.

The announcement was made during the Chehlum ceremony of APS victims held here at the CM House Peshawar. PTI Chief Imran Khan, Governor KP Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, provincial ministers, lawmakers and parents of the victims also attended. QuranKhwan and special Dua services were held for martyred children and teachers of the APS attack.

The Chief Minister said as per the directives of PTI Chief Imran Khan, treatment of the injured students with all facilities would be made under the patronage of Provincial Government and Shaukat Khan Hospital. He said those injured whose treatment was not possible here would be sent abroad.

He said we equally shared the grief and sorrow of the affected families and the revenge of the innocent children would be taken by eliminating terrorists and militants besides wiping out terrorism and the future of the children would be made safe at all cost for which measures have at national level were started. He said the process of renaming Govt schools located at nearest important places have also been started after the APS martyrs and teachers. Similarly, the construction of monument in their memory with consultation of parents was being mulled.

Pervez Khattak further told parents that foolproof security of the schools, making the intelligence networking more strengthened and coordinated in the province are being made and it are being armed with proper security gadgets. He informed that illegal Afghans immigrants are being expelled under the crash plan from the province while arrangements are underway for the dignified returns of the registered Afghan refugees.

Similarly, he said Frontier Constabulary platoons presently deployed at Islamabad are being repatriated to the province for deployment at FATA-KP borders. He said Peshawar would be made city of flowers again and work on green belts and afforstration are being underway in Peshawar.

Special prayers and Quran Khwani were also held at the district headquarters of KP for eternal peace of the APS martyrs.
