CM: (Pak-Australia agree to improve mutual economic relations)

ISLAMABAD: Australian High Commissioner in Pakistan Margaret Anne Adamson met with the Punjab Chief Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore on Sunday.

During the meeting, both discussed matters of mutual interest, ways to improve Pak-Australia mutual economic and social relations, and extending cooperation in sectors of agriculture, livestock, skills development and education.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Pakistan and Australia have the best friendly relations and there are ample opportunities for investment in livestock and agriculture sectors of Punjab.

Meanwhile, talking to a delegation of PML-N in Lahore on Sunday, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said selfless journey of public service will be continued despite the opposition to progress by some handful elements.

He said those who put hurdles in the public welfare projects, cannot bear the elimination of public deprivations. He said objectors of development projects do not want to see people get prosperous and country developed.
