QUETTA: Sacrifices of Frontier corps Balochistan are unforgettable. This was stated by Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch while addressing 56 th Badge of Frontier Corps at Training Centre Loralai Thursday. Tribal elders, motabareen, senior civil and military officers and parents of jawans completing training attended.
He appreciated high standard of parade and expressed the hope that passing out jawans would maintain bright traditions of Balochistan. He said FC sacrifices for establishing law and order are unforgettable. Therefore maximum youth should joint FC and play their role for national solidarity and defence of the country.
IG FC Major General Muhammad Ejaz Shahid in his address said FC was not only defender of borders with Iran and Afghanistan but it is also striving should to shoulder with provincial government for uplift of province and welfare of people.
He said School of Frontier Corps and Training Centre was playing important role in basic training and securing professional skills. Trained people of this institution are discharging their duty in difficult situation and areas with dedication and devotion.
He congratulated passing out jawans and expressed the confidence they would come to the expectations of the nation.
Chief Instructor Training Centre Loralai Lt Col Ahsan Jahangir briefed details about various phases of training.
Earlier upon arrival at the parade ground Chief Minister was presented guard of honour by smartly turned out contingent. Chief Minister inspected the parade.
Taking oath passing out jawans pledged to fulfil their obligations of defence of borders and their responsibilities with hard work.
At the end Chief Minister took salute of the march past. Chief Minister also distributed prizes among the jawans for their best performance. Best Overall performance award was secured by Recruit Sagheer Ahmed while best champion Company award was given to Aziz Bhatti Company.
