CM: (Rs 70 bln to be spent on clean drinking water in Punjab:, says Shahbaz)

ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the provincial government will spend Rs 70 billion to provide clean drinking water during the next three years.

Presiding over a meeting in Lahore on Thursday, he said Rs 11 billion will be spent on the project during the current fiscal year. He said the clean water project has already been launched in four districts Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Lodhran and Bahawalpur. He said it will be implemented transparently within the time line.
