Peshawar: The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak while clarifying stance of the provincial government for deployment of ranger force in the province has said that geographical location of KP was very sensitive because it shares hundreds kilometre long borders with war-torn country like Afghanistan.

He said that security of such a long border was not possible without proper deployment of forces. The Chief Minister said that a large number of frontier constabulary troop had been deployed in other provinces. The federal government, he said, despite repeated demands of the province was not ready to repatriate FC troops to the province.

He said that other provinces were raising complaints about the presence of the rangers while the KP government was welcoming the rangers in the province. The CM said that KP government was the soul government of the country which was presenting itself for accountability.

He further said that the province had not only established a free accountability commission but was also taking steps to make the commission further effective.
