CM: (Shahbaz visits Islamabad-Rawalpindi Metro Bus project)

ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that his government is determined to make development in every department of life. He was talking to newsmen after visiting the Islamabad-Rawalpindi Metro Bus project on Monday.

The Chief Minister said that the development and progress of the four provinces is the development of Pakistan. He said he has reviewed the whole project and directed to enhance ticket counters keeping in view the rush of the commuters.

He said with the launching of Metro Bus Project, Islamabad and Rawalpindi cities have become twin cities in real sense.

Shahbaz Sharif said Islamabad-Rawalpindi Metro Bus project can be compared in Metro Bus project in the world.

He said currently sixty-eight buses are plying and more will be acquired if needed. He said people belonging to all parts of the country and of all ages are taking benefit of this modern travelling facility.

He said Feeder Bus Service will be launched in three months to bring the commuters to the metro bus stations. The Punjab Chief Minister said that funds have been allocated in the federal budget for the Green Project in Karachi.

He said that one hundred fifty billion rupees would be spent in coming three years on development of the agriculture sector in Punjab.
