CM Spokesperson visits UoB

QUETTA: University of Balochistan is key educational institution of the province. According to Higher Education Commission (HEC) statics and classification of country’s universities it has come to number seven which is positive and important hour.

This was stated by Vice Chancellor University of Balochistan Dr Javaid Iqbal to Spokes person of Chief Minister Jan Muhammad Buledi during his visit to the University Wednesday.

Director General Students Affairs Dr Akram Dost, Registrar Muhammad Tariq Jogezai and concerned officers were present.

Vice Chancellor said that during the current year record admission forms have been filed for Masters Degree programmes. Keeping in view desires of boys and girls University wants commencement of evening classes so that students are not deprived of education. There is dire need of provincial government cooperation and guidance so that evening programmes and new departments could be established.

Spokes person said that University of Balochistan is an important and general university and its services for provincial government have always been very distinctive. He said government was striving for development of education sector and higher education institutions. He said soon course of action would be decided for curricular and development projects at a joint meeting with Chief Minister.

Vice chancellor thanked Spokesperson and termed cooperation of political representatives with University and guidance as good omen.
