CM Visits his constituencies area

Peshawar: KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said that the PTI led coalition government in the province was addressing basic problems of the people including elimination of corruption, poverty, unemployment, establishing rule of law and justice and opening new avenues of economic and industrial revolution. The public meeting was also addressed among others by MNA Dr. Imran Khattak, former MPA Liaquat Khattak, Ishaq Khattak and elders of the area including Malik Bashar Khan, Muslim Khan and Mumraiz Khan.

“Our government will concentrate on providing relief to the poor people by creating an atmosphere conducive for reconstruction and development instead of wasting money on launching unnecessary mega projects and provision of employment opportunities in education and health sectors”, he said this while addressing a public meeting after inauguration work on construction of main road from Azakhel Payan GT Road to Cherat Cement Factory.

The public meeting was also addressed among others by MNA Dr. Imran Khattak, former MPA Liaquat Khattak, Ishaq Khattak and elders of the area including Malik Bashar Khan, Muslim Khan and Mumraiz Khan.

He told the audience that “we will help settle those problems of the people of which they were victim from day one”. He held out categorical assurance that uniform and balanced development policy would be vigorously pursued by his government across the province so that no area was left out and any segment of the society was uncovered.

The people’s money would be utilized judiciously on their welfare instead of wasting it on schemes involving corruption and commission.

The Chief Minister claimed that he had set directions for all the government institutions in the province which were not only delivering quality service to the people now but also purged of the corruption and commission ‘maafias’ and ready for changing the obsolete system of governance.

The Chief Minister lashed at the policies of Wapda which he said are anti people and based on corruption. He said despite provision of funds for the electricity schemes, the Wapda authorities using delaying tactics in providing transformers and laying transmission lines. He also criticized the Wapda for carrying out massive load shedding in nook and corner of the province which was generating electricity more than its requirements.

Pervez Khattak said that federation should address energy related concerns of the KP, adding “we should not be called power thieves and instead the federation should give us our constitutional right viz a viz net hydel profit arrears and electricity quota”.

The KP CM said that the federal government has failed to address people’s problems and urged the people to vote for Imran Khan in the next elections so that foundation for new Pakistan could be laid, corruption and commission, injustices are eliminated and the country was put on road to progress and prosperity in real manner.

He claimed that reduction in commission and establishing justice system in Thana and Patwar circles remained success stories of his government. The PTI mandated in the province for overcoming the chronic issues of corruption and commission and it was working day and night in this regard to bring radical change in the governance system.

The administrative system of the province has been restructured, government institutions, the police and administration have been made real servant of the people despite pressures created by various circles. He said that ‘lootmar’ was rampant in the state institutions before their government in the province was formed, saying government job were to be sold and thirty percent advance commission on uplift project was a routine matter.

Similarly no attention was paid on uniform development in the province, he said adding, we put on right track the nation building departments like C&W, Irrigation, PHED, Local Government, Education, Health, Excise, Home and police departments. He told the people that August 14 Azadi march was not for derailing democracy, adding it was in the interest of the country that Imran Khan should become PM as he could get rid the country of the present mess.
