Commission: (Allegations of poll rigging must have evidence as well: CJP)

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Nasirul Mulk, who is head of the Inquiry Commission probing alleged rigging in 2013 general elections observed on Tuesday that those levelling allegations of poll rigging will have to submit evidence as well.

During the proceedings of the commission, he said it cannot be presumed that Returning Officers were involved in the alleged rigging merely on the basis of allegations. The commission would meet again today (Wednesday).

Witnesses of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) would be cross-examined today (Wednesday), while witnesses of PML (Q) would be cross-examined on Friday.
