Commissioner lauds civic, security arrangements on Eid

KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui on Wednesday has said that the peaceful holding of hides, civic and security issues on Eid-ul-Adha became possible due to collaboration of all the relevant organizations including Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, district municipal corporations, police, rangers, cantonment boards and administration officers.

He said this during a visit to different areas of the city. The commissioner reviewed civic, security and other issues during all the three days of Eid with administration officers and expressed satisfaction over the steps taken by all the organizations.

Siddiqui on his visit to beach said due to the steps taken by KMC, Karachi Port Trust, police and Defence Housing Authority the security of the beach visitors could be ensured.

He thanked Administrator KMC Rauf Akhter Farooqui, IG Sindh Ghulam Hyder Jamali, Additional IG Karachi Ghulam Qadir Thebo, DG rangers, all the deputy commissioners, heads of cantonment boards and administrators of all the districts for making good policies to maintain law and order situation and all the other arrangements satisfactory.

The commissioner said that coordination was such a good act that many big issues could be solved through it and commissioner office was playing an active role in resolving issues among organizations on one table.
