Commissioner orders removing unauthorized sacrificial animals’ markets

Karachi: Commissioner Karachi, Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui on Saturday took notice of unauthorized sacrificial animals’ markets in the city and ordered to remove six illegal markets which were established in various parts of city.

Unauthorized and illegal sacrificial animals’ markets are established in Malir 15, Landhi, Baldia Town, Babar Market, Manghopir and Cafe Piyala area.

Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui directed Deputy Commissioner Central, Dr Syed Saif Ur Rehman to remove illegal sacrificial animals’ market within 24 hour which was established near Cafe Piyala hotel.

Commissioner Karachi warned to take action against relevant officers if they failed to remove illegal markets from their jurisdictions.

Shoaib Ahmed Siddique also took notice of fleecing of buyers of sacrificial animals in approved sacrificial animals’ markets and directed district deputy commissioners to stop exploitation of buyers.
