Committee formed to computerize all KMC records

KARACHI: Information Technology Department of KMC on Wednesday has constituted a committee comprising 16 program officers for getting information from all the departments of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation to be computerized.

Administrator Karachi Rauf Akhtar Farooqui had directed the Information Technology department to take practical steps for speedy computerization of records of all the KMC departments.

He said the IT officers should be sent to the departments for getting information about them and providing help to the concerned officials in the computerization process.

The committee has been directed to submit its report within seven days.

The list of program officers who were assigned the computerization job is as follows:

Jahangir Khan (Local Taxes Department, Birth & Death), Asad (KMC Land Department, LARP), Shaista Anwar (E&IP Department, CSR Department), Syed Nazim Hussain Rizvi (Works & Services Department), Aziz Alam Abbasi (Municipal Services Department, Community Warden), Khalid Mohammad Khan (Health Department), Mohammad Yahya (Education Department, Vehicle Department), Shama Saeed (Literacy Department, Food & Quality Control), Shamim Akhtar (Law Department, Media Management), Arif Qadri (Veterinary Services Department), Akhtar Subhani(F&A Department KDA Wing), Mohammad Akbar (Charged Parking Department), Raees Tabassum (Transport &Communication Department, Municipal Utility Taxes & Charges Department) , Mohammad Nadeem Ghaznavi (Estate & Accommodation, Public Housing Department), Mohammad Shoaib Siddiqui (Stores & Procurement Department) and Mohammad Farooq (Graveyard).
