DC assures solving problems of girls’ school

Naudero: Larkana district Deputy Commissioner, Ghanwar Ali Laghari has taken notice of news about fainting of girl students in Government Girls High School here two days ago due non-working of ceiling fans the classrooms.

He visited the school along with the Assistant Commissioner, Ratodero, on Wednesday morning and took a round of the building and saw himself the plight of female students.

DC also called on the Head Mistress Haseena Khuhro and enquired about the incident and other problems. She also informed him about the shortage of teachers including subject teachers of Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Arabic, Drawing, PT & Home Economics. She further told him that the posts of Junior School Teachers (JSTs) are also lying vacant which should also be filled on priority basis.

The Deputy Commissioner assured her that outdated ceiling fans will be replaced immediately and the under-construction building of five new classrooms will also be completed and handed over without loss of further time to the Education Department.
