DC Larkana pays surprise visit to uplift schemes

RATODERO: Larkana Deputy Commissioner Ghanwar Ali Laghari paid surprise visits to ongoing development schemes of Ratodero here on Monday.

He also visited later on schools and basic health units established at various villages along Naundero-Ratodero road. Laghari directed the contractors and officers to complete the development schemes well on time or they will face the action as no delay would be tolerated.

He also went to Government Primary School, Abad Bhutto village, where he noticed the shortage of school teachers and directed the director schools education Larkana to provide requisite teachers without further loss of time.

The deputy commissioner also visited Government Boys Primary School of village Khokhar where he found three out of five primary teachers absent. These absent teachers include Akhtiyar Dayo, Sattar Bhutto and Karam Ali.

He directed the director to take strict disciplinary action against the absent teachers and report him. The said school was closed at 12.30 pm by the head master for which he also directed the director to look what was going on in the primary schools.

After visiting the primary school, he went to the disposal which is maintained by the public health engineering department and found it faulty. He got annoyed and immediately directed the executive engineer to make it functional without further loss of time.

The deputy commissioner also visited Basic Health Unit of Abad Bhutto village where he found lady doctors Aneeta Ahuja and Daina Ahuja absent. He took serious notice of their absence and said that he would write to the government for taking severe action against absent lady doctors.

He said that they were drawing salaries monthly and regularly but they did not deliver for the betterment of the common man which was deplorable.
