Demand to release Pasban leader, son

KARACHI: Leaders of political and political-religious parties on Monday strongly condemned the whisking away of Pasban Pakistan’s General Secretary Usman Muazam Siddiqui and his son Mohammad Siddiqui during a raid by law enforcement agencies on their house 19th July 2015 evening.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder member and leader Najeeb Haroon condemned the incident and said he himself had sacrificed for restoring of peace in Karachi. He said this whisking away is beyond the comprehension.

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh Dr Mairaj-ul Huda said unwarranted arrest of Pasban leaders is violation of human rights. He said if the detained persons are involved in any criminal activity then their offence should exposed and they should be presented before court of law.

Leader of Jafaria Alliance Pakistan Allama Abbas Kumaili also condemned the incident and said if any citizen is wanted in any crime then he should be presented before a court, their family be allowed meeting them, and if someone is guiltless, he should be released and not to be humiliated.
